The Bakery is a converted stone barn, providing guest accommodation on a ‘Self Catering’ basis

The Bakery is part of Felin Carrog, a 19th century former corn mill, cottage and barns

Pre-Arrival

• We are in a rural location and the use of a car is strongly recommended for our guests
• The nearest train station is at Aberystwyth approximately 7 miles distant
• Taxis can be found at the station but require booking for outward journeys from The Bakery
• Due to the nature of the building we advise that guests with mobility or visual impairments are accompanied during their stay

Arrival & Car Parking Facilities

• There is a house name sign at the entrance to the drive
• The parking area is located at the front of the garden on a flat gravel surface
• To reach the cottage from the parking area there are four steps down onto the patio area, one step up, then one step down into the cottage
• There is a sensor light by the front door for night

Main Entrance

• There is one door into the cottage 75cm wide
• Audible smoke detectors are located in the cottage
• Complimentary internet access is available in the cottage

Open plan living accommodation

• There is a three seater sofa available with 43″ smart freesat television service
• The dining table can cater for three people
• There is a log burner for the winter months
• The floor is wooden laminate
• From this room there is access to the bedrooms and bathroom which are all on one level

Laundry

• There is a washer / dryer, ironing board and iron in the cottage

 Bedrooms

• There are no locks on the bedroom doors
• Rooms have centrally operated ceiling lights and individual controlled reading lights giving good light levels
• The master bedroom has a hairdryer
• The floors are wooden laminate
• The master bedroom has a door 64cms wide and has a standard double bed with access from both sides. The room also has a single wardrobe, chest of drawers and two bedside tables
• The second bedroom has a door 64cms wide and has a standard single bed and tallboy chest of drawers
• There is a torch provided in the kitchen under the sink for emergency use

Bathroom

• There is a lock on the bathroom door
• The bathroom has a door 64cms wide
• The bathroom has a wooden laminate floor
• The bath has a 55cm high side
• There is a full height seperate shower
• The toilet has a height of 42cm

Garden

• The Bakery has a large garden with patio and lawned area available for guests
• A footpath leads from the front of the property into the surrounding countryside

Additional Information

• There is one door and four full opening windows from which to evacuate the building and guests have a notice in the Welcome folder detailing the fire evacuation procedure
• The cottage is non-smoking throughout
• Mobile phone reception is variable
• We aim to be available for our guests as much as possible and are happy to advise on local attractions and facilities
• Dogs are not allowed on the furniture and a crate can be supplied on request
• A highchair can be supplied on request
