Terms and Conditions

Thank you for choosing Felin Carrog Cottages and we look forward to welcoming you. When you make your booking you are entering into an agreement with us, therefore, please read our terms and conditions of booking below.

Charges and Terms

Please ensure we receive a non-returnable deposit representing 25% of the holiday price within 7 days of the booking or we may be obliged to release the dates. The balance should be paid at least 6 weeks before the start of the holiday. We reserve the right to cancel the booking if full payment has not been received by this date. Payment can be by electronic transfer to our bank (please ask for details) or by credit or debit card.

Providing we receive at least 6 weeks notice you will not be liable for the balance of the holiday. For notice periods of less than 6 weeks you will be liable for the balance unless we can re-let the cottage. In this instance we will refund to you any monies received from the replacement letting. As we will be letting at short notice this may not be a full refund. For this reason we strongly recommend that you take out holiday insurance that includes cancellation cover.
In the unlikely event that the accommodation becomes unavailable and we have to cancel your holiday then our liability is limited to a full refund only.

Arrival and Departure

Your accommodation will be available from 4.30pm on the day of arrival, unless otherwise arranged.
We ask that you vacate the property by 10am on the day of departure.  We ask that you leave the cottage, as far as possible, in the condition that you found it.

Pets are very welcome, but charges do apply.  Only the number and type of pets agreed to on the booking confirmation will be allowed.

Pets must not, at any time, be left alone at or in the property

Pets must not under any circumstances be allowed on any soft furnishings or beds.

Pets must have their own beds or equivalent to protect floor coverings at all times.

Pets must not cause any annoyance to occupants of adjoining properties or the general public.

We request that you do not smoke inside any of the cottages. If you wish to smoke outside, please ensure that you dispose of matches and cigarette butts.

Damages and Breakages

We request that you take reasonable care of our property. You are responsible and liable for any breakages or damages that you cause to the accommodation or its contents. Please report these as soon as they occur. We do not normally charge for minor breakages, but we reserve the right to charge you for repair or making good if the damage or breakage is significant.

Please let us know about any problem with any appliance or fixture or fitting as soon as possible and we will ensure that, within a reasonable time, this is repaired or alternative arrangements are made.

Visitors are asked to take care at all times while on our property. Parents in particular are asked to ensure that children are safe, accompanied by a responsible adult and not left unattended. We do not accept responsibility or liability for injury or damage to and loss of guests property, cars and contents and you agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from and against all actions, claims, costs and proceedings (including reasonable legal fees incurred in defending the same) arising from your acts or omissions (and those in your party) while on our property. In the event of guest unacceptable behaviour or other necessary cause, we reserve the right to terminate the let without any refund of letting monies.

We (or our representative) reserve the right to enter any property at a reasonable time for the purpose of emergency maintenance or repair or any other need.

Lost Property

We are happy to return items that have been left following departure.  However, there will be a reasonable charge to cover postage and packaging.
